About The Bag Lady

Let us tell you how The Bag Lady in Baton Rouge, LA came about:

Anne met her husband, Chad, while attending Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. After their marriage, they spent the next eight years in the major league baseball arena. After Chad suffered a career-ending injury, they retired to Baton Rouge, LA. They have two beautiful daughters (8 and 5) and Anne decided, in 2004, to go into the "Purse/Accessory" business.

In order to be available for the girls, she decided to do trunk shows, conferences, holiday shows, and to open a web site. This business is allowing Anne to work with her favorite "sidekick", her mom, who is her right hand man.

Anne will be the first to tell you that while it was wonderful to be the wife of a major league baseball player, it is equally as fulfilling to have him home and to have him share in her business. AND best of all, the girls love to tell their friends that their mom’s "The Bag Lady"!!
