Let us tell you how The Bag Lady
in Baton Rouge, LA came about...

Anne met her husband, Chad, while attending Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. After their marriage, they spent the next twelve years in the Major League Baseball arena. After Chad suffered a career-ending injury, they retired to Baton Rouge, LA. They have two beautiful daughters (Maddy 11 and Hannah Grace 8) and Anne decided, in 2004, to go into the "Purse/Accessory" business.

In order to be available for the girls, she decided to do trunk shows, conferences, holiday shows, and to open a web site. This business is allowing Anne to work with her favorite "sidekick", her mom, who is her right hand man. We are happy to announce that in February of 2009, The Bag Lady finally took retail space at Lions Gate Centre at 1575 Lobdell Ave in Baton Rouge. Now shoppers can come shop the store or online. How Divine!

Anne will be the first to tell you that while it was wonderful to be the wife of a major league baseball player, it is equally as fulfilling to have him home and to have him share in her business. Best of all, the girls love to tell their friends “My mom’s The Bag Lady"!!
